Famous Dutch fashion designer Bas Kosters is selling his prĂȘt-a-porter collection "Par-Tea" exclusively at the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam this fall 2010.
For the "Par-Tea" collection Bas wanted to combine the night-life inspiration of his studio with the cozy and friendly side of him and his work. These two contrasting elements were combined in a wearable but still authentic collection.
The collection has an unmistakable Bas Kosters signature combining the grungy look and chic elements from his award winning A/W 2010 Living Too Hard collection, which was inspired by the excessive lifestyle of rock and pop stars, with new styles designed just for this unique shop-in-shop.
Bas Kosters collection was produced in the Netherlands with hand-made details and unique hand dying by Bas Kosters himself and consists of 16 items and 3 accessories.
The shop-in-shop in the Bijenkorf is part of the Incubator Award won by Bas Kosters during the 2009 Dutch Fashion Awards. The award, hosted annually by the Dutch Fashion Foundation, aims at realizing the designers business objectives through its collaborations with all kinds of channels in the industry such as The World Fashion Center and de Bijenkorf.
The Par-Tea collection will be available exclusively at de Bijenkorf in Amsterdam from 14 October until 30 November.
